Once I get a job, I'm buying one of these things. Pen and tablet still feels unnatural.

i use a similar device, a HP Pavillion TX 2500z, wacom penabled tablet PC, screen sensitivity is only 256 levels though, but i compared it to the Cintiq and i can't feel much difference, mebbe im not pro enough XD

it still can't match the feeling of graphite over paper tho :D

OP here. Thanks! just experimenting with my tablet. I do mostly layouts and typography so making actual digital paintings is new and exciting for me. Here's another one-- same girl, slightly different style with the figure.

aaand another--same girl, just attempted to recreate what I saw when we went to the beach (supposed to be some beach resort in subic, but i just made some generic beach because i don't have a reference *don't like taking photos*).

i usually overstroke to make the lines more visible so the scanner can easily scan em, (i dont have my own scanner btw)and makes separating the darker area and lighter area in PS easier (im lazy XD )
